How do you choose the salons you list?
We only match you with salons and barbershops that we would book for ourselves. We prioritize quality over quantity.
All salons listed on iluk are selected based on 4 strict criteria:

  • 3. Cleanliness
  • 4. High-quality products
How does iluk work?
Iluk helps you find a last-minute hair, beauty or barber appointment that fits your schedule, location and budget. Simply select the service you need to get done, and set your availability, preferred location, maximum budget, and payment information. Your request is then sent out to all eligible salons that meet your criteria and you’re matched with an awesome salon that can get you in.
Think of us like the Uber for salons: instead of getting matched with a driver, you’re matched with a top-rated salon!
What happens if I don’t like the salon I’m matched with? Can I cancel?
Because of our strict vetting process, we’re confident that you’ll have a great experience no matter which salon you’re matched with. Since iluk appointments are so last-minute, all bookings are non-cancellable. However, if you have any issues with the salon you’re matched with, you can chat with us directly in the app and we will make sure to find a solution for you!
How do I pay for my appointment?
All appointments are prepaid by credit card through the iluk app. By having contactless payment, you can skip the counter and walk-in and out of your appointment worry-free.
How does tipping work?
All service prices listed on iluk do not include gratuities. Once you’ve been matched with a salon, you can then add a tip in advance through the app or pay at the salon after your appointment.
How far in advance can I book an appointment on iluk?
iluk helps you find a last-minute appointment at a top-rated salon for today or tomorrow.
In which cities can I use the iluk app?
At the moment, iluk is only available for last-minute appointments in Montreal. We hope to expand to more cities very soon!
